Tulloch Castle
Tulloch Castle at Dingwall near Inverness in the Highland region is a medieval castle of sixteenth-century origin that has been operated as a hotel for several decades, offering accommodation and dining within a historic building associated with the Clan Davidson and later the MacKenzie family. The castle's long gallery, great hall and various period rooms provide atmospheric accommodation in a building that retains considerable historical character. Dingwall is the county town of Ross-shire and the administrative centre of the Easter Ross district, with a long history as a market and judicial centre for the fertile agricultural lands of the Cromarty Firth.
